The most exclusive brewery in the world in terms of its size is rather inconspicuous. The Camba Bavaria brewery has been hidden behind the walls of a historic mill in Truchtlaching in Chiemgau since 2008. Originally, today's brewery was intended more as a showroom for brewing equipment, but the result of the brewing presentations was so impressive that the decision was made in Truchtlaching to brew its own craft beer in the future. The demand for artisanal brewed beer from Chiemgau grew immensely. So immense that a new brewhouse had to be built quickly. Since then, Upper Bavaria has been producing around 40 different specialty beers, which has earned it a reputation as one of the most creative breweries in Germany. New brewing innovations appear almost every week, some of which are even stored in special bourbon whiskey barrels. The limits of creativity only seem to be reached if the purity law interferes. But here too the Upper Bavarians will probably be innovative again.
