In the Franconian region, the variety is a real classic and should not be missing in the cellar or in the range of decent breweries.

The Aufsesser brewery has both a shady beer garden and a sizeable warehouse. Located in the heart of Franconian Switzerland, the brewery is a meeting point for thirsty hikers, cyclists and walkers from near and far. The brewers combat acute thirst for beer with their fine lager. The beer combines soft sweetness, mild bitterness and malty aromas into a tasty refreshment - just the thing after a day in nature!

The Aufsesser Lager tempts with its copper-red robe and a stately head of foam. In addition to the enticing look, there is a scent that is hard to resist: fine notes of malt flatter the nose and tempt you to take the first sip. This reveals the Aufsesser’s art of brewing with a powerful body and harmonious play of aromas. A cornucopia of sweet malt notes unfolds on the tongue and blends with notes of sun-dried straw. A masterfully balanced bitterness skilfully rounds off the taste profile and gives the beer a little kick.
