The right beer for festive occasions.
There are moments when it just has to be something special. If you don't want to go without beer in these situations, we recommend a brut ale. The Berlin brewery Schoppe has a Brut in its range that we particularly like. Brut Ales are fermented with champagne yeast and get a fine perlage and an acidity that is reminiscent of the noble sparkling wine. The brewers from Schoppe affectionately call their Brut Ale "Schampus der Straße" and there is no better name for their work.
Schoppes Brut X Ale is a top-fermented beer that has been cold-hopped with Hallertauer Blanc. The noble drop presents itself in a slightly cloudy gold tone in the glass and forms a handsome crown of firm, white foam. An unusual scent of fine, light grapes paired with sour green apple, white pepper, pear and yeast tempts you to take the first sip. This is dry, fine-yeasty and tastes like slightly sour, light fruits. The Brut Ale has a great balance between pleasant sweetness, tangy acidity and hoppy tartness. The finish is light-footed and has a refreshing citrus note with it.
A feather-light beer that goes particularly well with Mediterranean cuisine. Grilled fish, for example, with a colorful summer salad wonderfully complements the aroma of the beer.
