That the pandemic can also do good is proven not only by the clearer air over large cities but also by this goat from Yankee & Kraut. As a rule, the buck is brewed before Easter for Lent and in winter for Advent. However, the exceptional talents of Yankee & Kraut have decided to let their goat dance out of line.
Do you want to? Here you will be helped!
The light goat with the very appropriate name "Bock auf Bock" was created in collaboration with the creative brewers from the Hensen brewery and house friend. The result of the joint creation is an extraordinary buck that has been highly fermented and inspires with brilliant hop notes.
Bock after bock flows into the glass in the color of liquid gold and adorns itself with a crown of airy foam. The scent is initially malty and caramel-like, sweet, but the hops then add a surprising fruity note that smells delicious of juicy orange, green apples and gooseberries. The initial taste reveals a full-bodied beer with a grandiose, velvety mouthfeel and a wonderfully rich texture. In terms of taste, the pale Bock inspires with a well-coordinated malt palette, which is accompanied by a decent hop kick. On the palate, aromas of honey, freshly baked cake and roasted malt meet mowed grass, juicy orange, floral hops and spicy bread dough. The buck is not too sweet, but rather pleases with a pleasant dryness that goes perfectly with the soft bitterness.
