Ipanema is a powerful Double India Pale Ale with a full 8.3% alcohol content and is brewed with the aroma-intensive hop varieties Citra, Centennial and Mosaic. The hop-dominant beer specialty presents itself in a densely cloudy amber-gold with creamy, white foam. The beer smells and tastes intensely of tropical fruits, citrus fruits and freshly baked biscuits. With a staggering 90 bitterness units, Ipanema skilfully and cleanly balances the fruity and juicy sweetness.
