Long before feminism and equality became a society-wide topic, there was already a woman at the head of the St. Feuillien family: Stéphanie Friart founded the brewery in 1873 and led it to great success within the next 50 years. In contrast to most Belgian breweries, Stéphanie relies on light, slightly more digestible beers. To this day, the Friart family runs the company and stands for wonderful beer with character.

If you don’t know the brewery from Le Rœulx yet, then we recommend the brewery package from St. Feuillien: It contains the brewery’s three best-known and most popular beers and a matching glass.

The Quadrupel is a particularly strong, powerful beer that brings a full 11.0% alcohol content and a beautiful ruby red color to the glass. It beguiles with a composition of caramel, candied dark fruits and aromatic Madeira. At 8.5%, the triple is a little less full-bodied, but is in no way inferior to the quadruple in terms of taste. In the small bottle is a symphony of roasted malt, freshly baked bread, fragrant hay, meadow herbs and aromatic yeast. St. Feuilliens Blonde rounds off the round and complements the package with a good balance of vanilla malt and citrus-fresh hops. Each of these beers is a treat and beautifully showcases the brewery.
