The beaver had a bad reputation for this for a long time, but today it is a protected species, at least in Europe. The cute little animal appears in fairy tales and stories, films and series, serves as a heraldic animal and mascot and is the national animal of some American states and Canada. The beaver is also the namesake for Belching Beaver, a burgeoning craft brewery based near San Diego.

Good beer and good times

The brewery with the burping beaver in its name and emblem was founded in 2012 with the plan to have a good time while brewing and drinking the finest beer. The top priority is joy — the joy of brewing, the joy of enjoyment and the joy of sipping a cold beer with friends. The brews made with this intention are classic American craft beers with a modern twist and handpicked hop varieties from all over the world. The brewery's concept combines top-quality beer with crazy ideas, fun and a pinch of magic. In order to reach as many people as possible and spread the word about their good beer, the brewery has several locations. The brewery is located in Oceanside, and the team also runs a pub, a tasting room and a tavern, which, in addition to the delicious beer, also offers specialties from the grill. The brewery also hosts events where their beer is combined with music, handmade food, games and all sorts of other ideas. The beer symbolizes the pure joie de vivre for the Belching Beaver Brewery team and they pass on their enthusiasm and passion to their fans and friends with every sip of beer.
