Liquid joie de vivre - this is how the Priller bars call their beer. We can only agree with this with wonderful beers like their Golden Fire . The brewery on Augsburger Frölichstrasse has made its location its motto and has been celebrating life with excellent beers for more than 600 years.
From here, for here
Not many breweries have a complete history that spans more than 600 years. The first records about the brewery can actually be found as early as 1386. The first Riegele to swing the scepter in the Riegele brewery is Sebastian Riegele, who acquired the brewery in 1884. Since then, the brewing tradition has been passed on from generation to generation and with it the values of the (Priller-) Riegele family. There is good reason to be proud of 28 generations of passionate brewing art. In addition to their beer, the Riegeles are also known for their social commitment. Under the motto “From here. For here! ”The family supports Augsburg associations, the youth and charitable causes. In addition, the beer is produced exclusively in the region to support the local labor market. With all efforts, the protection of our environment is also important for the Riegeles. The company structure is based on seven basic values that Riegeles have passed on from generation to generation. These include, among other things, the love for tradition and home, the respectful treatment of our nature and of course the impeccable quality.
With so much dedication, the beer can only taste good!
Beer as a philosophy of life
The brewery Riegele loves beer. It is more than a delicious after-work drink for passionate beer lovers. Rather, beer is a philosophy, a way of life. Beer generates community and is a luxury product that brings young and old to one table. Fine Herbe anticipation , fruity aromas and Magnus are beers from the house Riegele that are down to earth, honest and multifaceted. A beer has to be complex, not complicated, the bars agree. The aim is to brew beers with character. Every beer specialty from the S. Riegele brewery is a hoppy masterpiece. As one of the oldest breweries in the world, one can justifiably claim to have centuries of brewing experience and a great deal of specialist knowledge.
