From the beer cellar straight into your glass — the naturally cloudy, unfiltered cellar beer from the Karlsberg brewery is refined in the brewery’s own storage cellar once the brewing process is complete. In peace, the fine beer matures to its full splendor and is a grandiose cellar beer in the end. So great that it received the World’s Best Lager award in 2021, and that’s by no means the only prize this wonderful beer has won in national and international competitions.

The trophy hunter presents itself in a densely cloudy honey tone in the glass and adorns itself with an airy crown of snow-white foam. A seductive scent of spicy yeast dough, freshly mown grass, sun-kissed grain and golden straw rises from the large-pored splendor. The initial taste is beautifully round and inspires with a silky soft mouthfeel. Clean, clear notes of malt and grassy hops settle on the tongue, before hints of oven-fresh yeast braid, meadow herbs and tangy citrus fruit skilfully mix up the aromas. A subtly balanced bitterness accompanies the beer enjoyment. The well-balanced middle part is followed by a hop-bitter finish with fragrant straw notes and delicately spicy yeast.
