There’s news from the brewing craftsmen!
After Fred the Franconian was a great success, the brewing craftsmen came up with four colleagues for their Freiburg Red Lager. Amy - named after brewer Clayton’s nickname - is a so-called cowboy pale ale and complements the round with light and easy-drinking and a helping of American lifestyle. The American Pale Ale is based on a special summer edition and is accordingly fresh and flowery. Amy’s relaxed, flaky taste is thanks to the five types of hops: Aurora, Citra, Hallertauer Blanc, Herkules and Saphir give American Pale Ale juicy notes of peach and passion fruit.
Amy presents herself in a naturally cloudy golden yellow in the glass and adorns herself with a stately crown of dense, slightly cloudy foam. A wonderfully summery fragrance rises from the fine-pored splendor, reminiscent of flowering meadows and ripe fruit. The initial taste is incredibly refreshing and delights with fine liveliness and a soft creaminess, which caresses the tongue and the palate with great hop notes. The strong hop body pampers the taste buds with juicy notes of ripe peach, exotic passion fruit, sour lemon and a touch of tart grapefruit. The finish is spicy and tastes of vanilla, honey, fruit and a hint of juniper.
The perfect summer pleasure for hot June days and the long winter months when you miss the lightness of summer.
