The interplay of light and dark is a phenomenon that has fascinated mankind since the beginning of time. We are attracted to opposites, especially when they are as influential as the alternation of day and night. Light and dark determine our lives in an incomparable way, even though, thanks to electric light, we would have been able to turn day into night for a long time. Our natural rhythm is based on the sun: when it rises we wake up in the morning and when it disappears behind the horizon in the evening we slowly switch off.

We also find light and dark exciting in the context of beer. The spectrum ranges from crystal clear brewing pieces in transparent light gold to opaque creations in midnight black mahogany and presents us with an inexhaustible abundance in between. Fascinated by the greatest possible contrast, the Bamberg brewery Schlenkerla has packed a beer package that gives you its lightest and its darkest in an incomparable set.

The mix package contains 12 bottles each of the world-famous and popular Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Märzen and the Aecht Schlenkerla Hell. One could hardly be darker and delivers an abundance of strong smoky notes, the other is mild, golden and extremely reserved in its smoky notes. If opposites attract you, then the Schlenkerla Mix package with Hellem and Märzen is the right choice!
