FruitAge from Rodenbach pays homage to the queen of summer: the wonderful fruit beer celebrates the cherry in all its splendor and implements the theme perfectly from the first sight to the last sip.

The Flemish fruit beer is made from 100% natural ingredients and contains a generous dose of cherries alongside hops, malt and yeast. The red fruits conjure up a wonderful sweetness in the beer and provide the complementary acidity at the same time. The brewers have created a perfect balance between both flavors. The cherry beer naturally flows into the glass in the color of the fully ripe stone fruit and is crowned with a pink crown of creamy foam. The aroma of sweet heart cherries fills the air and tempts you to drink like a siren. The taste test reveals the full power of the cherry: sweet, fruity, subtly sour and wonderfully juicy, it ensnares the palate and triggers a delicious summer feeling.

The brewers recommend chocolate for their noble composition. We like it best with a tart with buttery shortcrust pastry: a dark base baked with exquisite cocoa is spread with a fluffy chocolate mousse cream. Dark chocolate shaved into fine volutes rounds off the sweet sin. The fresh acidity and the juicy fruitiness of the beer harmonize wonderfully with the heavy weight of the cake.
