The British brewery Samuel Smith has come up with a suitable beer for the Christmas anticipation and the glorious winter: Their Winter Welcome Ale is a seasonal beer specialty that was created especially for the shorter and colder days and the long nights of winter. With a full-bodied body and a classic festive character, the Winter Welcome Ale is the perfect choice for a cozy evening in front of the fireplace and warms you even when you are sitting in front of the heater instead of the crackling fire.

The festive ale flows into the glass in a golden copper tone and is adorned with a hand’s breadth of beige, fine-pored foam. A harmonious potpourri of malt, caramel, rum raisins and pear tickles the nose and tempts you to take the first sip. This reveals a powerful body with soft toffee notes that combine on the palate with dried fruits, raisins, winter spices and a fine bitterness to form a celebratory mixture.
