But the apricot is a real taste bomb: the pure power of the sun is hidden behind its honey-golden, fluffy skin. Sweet as sugar, juicy and wonderfully aromatic!

The British brewery Samuel Smith is known for its fine fruit beers and ciders and makes use of apricots in addition to apples and other fruit. Your Organic Apricot Fruit Beer is brewed exclusively with raw materials from controlled organic farming. Cereals, cane sugar, apricots and hops are organic and largely regional. All in all, they result in a handcrafted masterpiece that flows into the glass in the color of liquid sunshine. A dense ivory head of foam sits enthroned on the beer and fills the air with the enticing aroma of freshly baked apricot cake with warm caramel sauce. The first sip reveals a medium-heavy body with a velvety, almost tactile mouthfeel. Mild malt ensnares the palate with smooth sweetness before notes of apricot jam, spicy yeast and brown sugar join.

Samuel Smith’s Organic Apricot delivers a successful balance between fine bitterness, fruity acidity, malty sweetness and the unmistakable aroma of apricots. From the color to the taste to the creamy mouthfeel, the apricot was captured wonderfully.
