Just in time for the start of the cold season, the Riedenburger Brauhaus brings out a seasonal specialty every year: the popular wheat Doppelbock. The top-fermented winter beer comes with a strong 7.8% alcohol content and a variety of malty aromatic flavors. Exactly the right beer when it is really uncomfortable outside!

The Doppelbock from Riedenburger flows in a rich chestnut brown into the glass and is adorned with a large amount of hazelnut-brown foam. A wheat-typical scent of banana, clove and yeast rises from the creamy crown, which combines in the nose with the aroma of oven-fresh spiced bread to a seductive mixture. The initial taste reveals a voluminous body with a velvety-soft mouthfeel and creamy carbonic acid. Strong notes of ripe banana, spicy cloves and yeast caress the palate before the winter magic shows its effect: the aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls complements the conventional wheat aroma, heavenly notes of coriander, toffee, roasted malt and candied plums join in. The alcohol is well integrated into the taste and provides a warmth that spreads from the mouth to the stomach. A touch of fruity acidity rounds off the play of aromas, while a subtle bitter finish tops off the enjoyment of beer.
