The India Pale Ale Simco 3 Hopfiges Lebensglück owes its hop aroma to a successful triad of hop varieties Hallertauer Perle, Hallertauer Opal and Simco. So there are two traditional Bavarian and one American hop varieties. This scene could also take place in the beer garden and gives an idea of a beery evening full of hoppy happiness. So let’s talk a little about the actors in this scene. Because of its good storage properties, Hallertauer Perle is one of the most frequently used hops by hobby brewers. Hallertauer Perle can be used either as bitter hops or as aroma hops with a slightly spicy note. Hallertau Opal is characterized by a spicy, peppery aroma with herbaceous notes of anise and grass. The characteristic aroma profile is particularly evident in freshly harvested hops. The bitterness of the beer is not too strong. In the taste and smell, an even development of the aroma impressions can be perceived, with a light citrus note penetrating. The American Simco always promises fruity aromas of blueberries, currants and blackberries in the foreground - combined with notes of passion fruit, plum and pineapple as well as tips of lime.

These 3 in a team result in a real firework of flavors. In the glass, the Simco 3 Hopfiges Lebensglück appears in a light, milky amber color with a handsome head of foam. The nose smells of ripe apricot and grapefruit. In the initial taste, a very pleasant grapefruit bitterness joins the sweet fruit. Fresh herbs bloom in the passage and are carried by a very full-bodied malt body. In the aftermath, the wonderful hops again. The bunging is also perfect - wonderfully full-bodied and complex.
