The Weissenohe monastery brewery inspires with a wide range: In addition to Franconian classics, there are also crazy creations such as their Cannabis Club Sud . The tradition-conscious brewery masters the balancing act between historical brewing culture and modern craft beer and hits the mark with all of its creations.

So it’s no wonder that their Kloster-Sud is also an absolute hit. The original Franconian beer arises from a centuries-old brewing tradition and carries the rich beer culture of Franconia in its heart. The beer is created in a complex brewing process and is brewed with hand-picked ingredients of excellent quality. With an alcohol content of 5.4%, it is in the mid-range of Franconian beers and, thanks to its fine flavor, goes wonderfully with hearty dishes. We prefer to drink the Weissenoher classic with a cheese platter. A good Franconian bread with it and the world is fine.

The monastery brew from Weissenohe flows into the glass in a shiny amber tone and has a fine crown of white foam on the head. The chestnut-colored beer exudes a wonderful scent of freshly baked bread, sun-dried hay, herbaceous hops and roasted grain. The initial taste presents a voluminous body of taste with strong malt sweetness and soft hop notes. The connoisseur can taste caramelized nuts, spicy honey, delicate herbs, green apples and brown sugar.

The monastery brew of the Weissenohe monastery brewery is Franconian zest for life in liquid form.
