The Franconian winter is something very special: the scent of homemade gingerbread, cookies and stollen fills the freezing cold air while the first snow falls softly from the sky and covers the roofs of the picturesque half-timbered houses with white powdered sugar. Fields, meadows and forests are given a Christmas touch and turn the landscape into an idyllic winter wonderland. The brewery, located in the heart of Franconia, brings out its popular winter beer right on time for the start of Advent year after year and sweetens the days before Christmas Eve for adults from near and far.

The 5.0% strong beer flows into the glass in the color of freshly brewed coffee and crowns itself with a veil of honey-colored foam. On the nose, the winter beer presents itself with a bouquet of roasted aromas, caramel, toasted nuts and fine chocolate. The initial taste continues the enjoyment with powerful aromas and scores with a silky smooth mouthfeel and an opulent variety of flavors. Roasted malt, raisins, roasted almonds, freshly baked bread and toffee - the perfect indulgence on crisp, cold days!
