Italy is a place where you can drink an excellent espresso at any time and in any bar, no matter how small. Wine goes perfectly with antipasti, homemade pasta with ragu, sugo or sage butter, grilled meat with gorgonzola polenta, saltimbocca, seafood risotto or Florentine zuccotto, but we also like to drink a cold beer with Mediterranean dishes.

A Franconian interpretation of the classic Italian Pilsner comes from Blech.Brut. The Bamberg brewery took its cue from the lean, light-footed and elegant Italian Pils beers and created their very own version with a good 4.7% alcohol content. Your specimen borrows its straightforward and clear taste from the Motueka and Saazer Lupomax hop varieties, which conjure up grassy hints, citrus notes, a hint of exotic fruit and a certain noblesse in the beer.
