Golden ears of corn offer a magnificent sight that characterizes the landscape in southern Germany. If you take a trip in midsummer, you will see bright yellow fields as far as the eye can see outside the villages and towns. In the sun-drenched regions of Franconia, all sorts of cereals thrive and adorn the fields with their ripe ears of corn. The fruits are used for the production of flour and are also used in the brewing industry.

In honor of the wide range of aromatic Korn, the Staffelberg-Bräu brews a wonderful festival beer that bears the apt name Ährengold. The 5.5% strong Baustück is brewed on festive occasions in the calendar year and is used for church consecration, Lent, the change of season and other festive occasions. Its malty character pays homage to the grain fields of its homeland and is a real treat for the palate.

The Loffelder Festbier presents itself in a shiny gold tone and has a fragrant head of foam on the crystal-clear body. Notes of light malt, toffee, delicate citrus and spicy hops fill the air and arouse thirst at the first sip. The first sip reveals a bouquet of rich grain and noble hops. The aromas of oven-fresh bread, fragrant hay, herbs and creamy caramel mix into a finely tart and strongly sweet composition that puts the crown on every celebration.
