Der neuste Coup der katalanischen Brauerei Espiga ist ihre Black Cel Ona-Serie. In dieser Serie sollsich alles um das Imperial Stout drehen, da es laut Espiga die Mutter aller Biere ist. Es geht um kräftige, dunkle Biere mit Charakter, ordentlich Alkohol und Geschmack. So weit, so gut!

Das Black Cel Ona Imperial Stout entspricht Espigas Definition perfekt: Es ist schwarz wie die Nacht, es hat schlagkräftige 9,5% Vol. und es ist ein wahres Feuerwerk an Aromen. Das Bier gießt sich tiefschwarz ins Glas und bildet eine kleine, kastanienbraue Schaumkrone. Sogleich steigen einem karamellige Röstmalznoten und ein Hauch dunkle Schokolade in die Nase. Die Geschmacksprobe zeigt eine dezente Süße und einen vollen Körper mit schöner Cremigkeit. Das dunkle Bier ist zart Carbonisiert und schmeckt leicht rauchig. Auf der Zunge vereinen sich Röstmalz, Karamell, Schokolade und Kaffee zu einer dunklen Sinfonie, die in einem bitteren Finish abklingt.

Wir empfehlen das Black Cel Ona allen, die gerne wuchtige, gehaltvolle Biere trinken. Der vollmundige Geschmack und der relativ hohe Alkoholgehalt machen das Imperial Stout zu einer bierigen Delikatesse, die wunderbar zu rotem Fleisch und schokoladigen Desserts passt.
