Beer gardens and cellars can be found in almost every place in Franconia and the beer-thirsty visitor has a wide range of different locations to choose from. Mostly, the terraces and gardens invite you with shady spots under thick, old chestnut trees and entice you with crispy bread from the stone oven, homemade sausage specialties, pickled cheese, good mustard and their own version of a hearty cellar beer .

A particularly tasty example of this category is the Hallerndorfer Kellerbier from Rittmayer. The Franconian brewery has two beer cellars that entice with a cozy atmosphere, bowling alley and down-to-earth culinary delights. The cellar beer crowns every visit and refreshes even on hot days with its composition of ripe fruit, finely roasted malt sweetness and elegant hints of hops. Dark barley malt and roasted malt are responsible for the coppery shimmering chestnut brown. The strong grain gives the brew its warm rusty brown and provides the full-bodied malt character.

The cellar beer tastes particularly good in the beer cellar, but the traditional specialty also bewitches all the senses at home. Enjoy it no matter where you drink!
