Franconia is known for its picturesque landscape: small villages nestle in gentle, green valleys, wild forests with rugged rock needles alternate with magnificent fields and lush meadows, the bright sun shines from the blue sky and a mild breeze lets the golden ears of wheat in time to weigh. The small village of Weiher is located in the middle of this idyll and is home to accordingly inspired brewers. The team at the Kundmüller Brewery has dedicated a beer to its beautiful homeland, which is supposed to reflect all the qualities of Franconia with its gentle nature.

But beer not only represents Franconia visually and in terms of taste, it also does something to preserve it: The raw materials for the country beer come from regional cultivation in Franconia, and the beer is produced with renewable energies from the brewery’s own solar system. A delicious act of homeland love!

The country beer from Kundmüller flows into the glass in the color of the Franconian sun. The magnificent gold is adorned with a white, airy head of foam that smells fantastic of light malt, freshly baked bread, spicy honey, zesty lemon and floral hops. Tempting! The initial drink presents a wonderfully round, gentle beer with a fine variety of aromas. The fresh, subtly fruity body caresses the palate with notes of sweet malt, buttery brioche, lightly roasted grain, tangy citrus fruit and subtly balanced hops.

The finish is crisp, hoppy and pleasantly dry.
