Den Namen "Drunken Sailor" erhielt das India Pale Ale von der Crew Republic aufgrund der Entstehungsgeschichte der IPAs. Mit 58 Bittereinheiten ist dieses Bier nichts für schwache Gemüter. Im Vergleich zu anderen IPAs ist es aber wesentlich milder und fruchtiger und daher auch das ideale Einsteigerbier in die Welt der IPAs.
