The notorious series from the Sudden Death brewery are entering the next round. The current series is called the Brewtotype Series and includes three beers entitled This Is Not A Test. All three are characterized by their high intensity of powerful hop notes and prove once again what great hop magicians the brewers from Timmendorfer Strand are.

This Is Not A Test number 3 in the green version is a crisp Double Dry Hopped India Pale Ale with a whopping 6.5% alcohol content. The hop varieties Citra, Mosaic, Bru-1 and Eclipse are responsible for the tropical fruity taste. Citra is even used twice: once the green gold is used in the whirlpool and then the beer is dry-hopped with the variety. The result of this hop-intensive process is a beer that enchants with its juicy character and large notes of pineapple, mango and grapefruit.

Number 3 of the Brewtotype Series presents itself in a densely cloudy straw yellow in the glass. A hand’s breadth of foam sits enthroned on the naturally cloudy beer, exuding an enticing scent of yellow tropical fruit, spicy yeast and green hops. The taste skilfully continues the first impression and scores with juicy fruit notes, soft malt and harmonious bitterness.
