For many, a tennis game is much more than just a sports event: it is the epitome of athletic performance, an elegant back and forth between almost equal opponents, a lightning-fast exchange of blows, sometimes more exciting than a thriller and a test of strength that is done with calm, precision and Speed is gained.

As children, the crafty brewers at Poolside Brewing watched the big matches of legendary tennis players on television and worshiped the athletes as idols. Today they honor the light-footed legends with a beer: Tennis is an India Pale Ale with a whopping 7.4% alcohol content. The hops double Galaxy-Mosaic is responsible for the intensely tropical taste, which meets Citra and Simcoe in a sporting competition. No clear winner emerges from this match, rather the individual players unite to form a delicious quartet with fruity depth and tropical flair. Tennis presents the many facets of the different hop varieties in all their splendor and caresses the palate with its velvety softness and an almost creamy texture. The oat flakes are responsible for the latter: The pressed oats give the beer its smooth mouthfeel and structure.

Tennis is the perfect companion for the next match on TV and it also tastes good when you watch football, badminton, polo or Formula 1 instead of tennis.
