The theory of the Ekpyrotic Universe can be found in various disciplines. On the one hand it is a term of Stoic philosophy, on the other hand the construct is part of a cosmological model of the theoretical physicists Paul Steinhardt and Neil Turok. With their theory, they contribute another attempt at explaining the birth of our universe to science. However, the Ekpyrotic Universe has recently popped up in a completely different industry: the beer scene!
Gamma’s variant of the construct has little to do with quantum physics, the actual universe, or philosophy, but rather the fine art of brewing. In a masterful act, the brewers wove hops, malt, yeast and water into a magnificent Double India Pale Ale. The brew brings a whopping 8.0% alcohol content into the glass and is flavored with the Idaho 7 and El Dorado hop varieties.
In the glass, Gamma’s Ekpyrotic Universe is a richly clouded, almost milky peach tone with a copper shimmer and a creamy crown. When it comes to taste, the team at the Danish brewery does not lean out the window; Instead, they perfect the classic character and taste of a traditional IPA and take it to the extreme with intense fruit aromas, pointed bitterness and a harmonious balance of sweetness and tartness.
