So good that it's almost annoying.
This stout really deserves its name: it is dark, it smells beguiling and the full-bodied body is full of heavy aromas. The Estonian brewery Lehe knows how to brew the finest beers in a masterly manner and we are not surprised that this stout is also an absolute delight. We recommend a selection of hearty dishes with the deep black beer: Crisp leaf salads, for example, with an addition of mountain lentils, seared bacon, walnuts and fine blue cheese or a lamb chop with gratinated goat cheese on sauteed beans with a hint of thyme.
Harassment by Stout is presented in an impenetrable black mahogany tone and shimmers copper. A small amount of creamy, hazelnut-brown foam sits enthroned on the dark beer and exudes a tempting scent of strong roasted aromas, dark men's chocolate, finely-spicy liquorice and dried, red fruit. A touch of alcohol rounds off the olfactory first impression and makes you excited about the first sip. The initial taste reveals the voluminous body of this stout and brings a whole range of dark notes to the tongue. The spectrum ranges from fruity notes to caramel and mocha to smoked wood and melt-in-the-mouth chocolate. A bitterness that increases towards the finish skilfully balances the heavy sweetness and makes the stout a complex masterpiece of aromas.
