The Night Shift beers from the house of Horizont are complex specialties that have been refined in schnapps barrels after the brewing process. Rich, voluminous and aromatic creations such as Imperial Stouts or Barley Wines serve as the basis, which gain in character and intensity as they mature. We recommend these exquisite droplets for special occasions: savored with care, tranquility and devotion, however, these beers can turn any day of the week into a holiday.

The brewers used a very special technique for their barrel-aged Night Shift Russian Imperial Stout with coffee and chocolate in the vintage version from 2021: the finished beer was stored for three months on freshly roasted coffee beans from Ethiopia and delicious cocoa beans from Ghana. During this time, the beer acquired the full-bodied aroma of the handpicked beans.

Horizons Imperial Russian Stout is a dark beauty that owes its rich mahogany color to the 12 types of malt that go into it. A delicate veil of nut-brown foam crowns the beer and exudes an enchanting aroma of freshly brewed coffee, fine chocolate, exotic vanilla and fine bourbon. The taste follows the olfactory first impression one-to-one and caresses the palate with a velvety texture, intense flavor nuances and a warming 12.5% alcohol content.
