The Merkendorfer Pils has a pleasant 4.9% alcohol content and inspires with a noble bitter note, which comes from the exclusive use of the finest aroma hops. The drinkable beer is wonderfully full-bodied and scores with a skilful harmony of hops and malt. It is not for nothing that the Pils is the most popular beer of the Wagner brewery.

The Merkendorfer Pils from Wagner flows into the glass in crystal clear gold and has a crown of white, airy foam on its shiny body. Mild grass notes mix in the nose with a strong portion of malt, a hint of citrus rounds off the olfactory first impression and tempts you to take the first sip. The initial drink presents a refreshing beer with a great balance of sweet and bitter notes. At first, soft malt caresses the palate with notes of toasted grain, honey and gentle sweetness. The hops then take the helm and provide aromas of freshly mown grass, summer flower meadow and tangy citrus fruit. The play of aromas is accompanied by a crisp bitterness.
